The Story Circle Retreat

A space for your story to be heard, held, and honored.

Some stories need more than just a moment—they need time, space, and a circle of compassionate witnesses.

This 3½-day retreat is an invitation to step away from the hum of everyday life and enter a space of deep care. Within a small, cozy group, we’ll create a soft landing—a place grounded in safety and respect—where your story can be gently held and shared at whatever pace feels right for your heart.

Many of us carry stories that haven’t yet found their way into words. You are invited simply to begin wherever you are. Sharing even the smallest pieces can help loosen the weight of secrecy, opening up new paths toward freedom and connection.

The Rhythm of Our Time

Our days together will follow a gentle rhythm of:

Guided Reflection

Thoughtful prompts to help you listen to your own heart.

Compassionate Conversation

Sharing and witnessing each other's journeys.

Quiet Integration

Space to breathe, rest, and let new meaning emerge.

There is a quiet power in being truly seen; as we listen to one another with kindness, we often discover that we are far from alone, and new light begins to shine on old places.

Come As You Are

This retreat isn’t about finding “perfect” words or having a complete understanding of your history. It’s simply about showing up as you are, being received with care, and allowing healing to unfold within the warmth of community.

You are so welcome here, exactly as you are.

Joining the Circle: A First Step

Because the group is intentionally small, we ask those who feel drawn to this experience share a few thoughts and have a conversation with one of us. This helps ensure that the retreat is a supportive and appropriate fit for everyone who attends.

Please answer the questions below via email with your contact information so we can follow up with you.

  1. What is drawing you to the Story Circle Retreat at this time? (Is there a particular chapter of your story that feels ready to be heard, or are you simply looking for a quiet space to reflect?)
  2. In a group setting, what helps you feel most safe and supported? (We want to honor your needs—whether that’s plenty of quiet time, clear boundaries, or a specific kind of encouragement.)
  3. Is there anything currently happening in your life that feels particularly heavy or tender right now? (This helps our facilitator hold space for you with extra care and awareness.)
  4. Have you participated in a story group or a therapeutic retreat before? (No experience is necessary! This just helps us understand your familiarity with this kind of heart-work.)
  5. When we have our brief follow-up chat, what is one thing you’d love to ask us or clarify?

If something in you resonates with this invitation, we encourage you to take the next step.

We would be honored to hold space for your story
